Hello everyone! I’m a new member and hope we can be friends! I’m eager to see the world and to know it better and the first place I’d like to visit is Argentina. I feel in love with this country when I was 14 and began to learn about it more. The first thing that caught that caught my attention was Obelisk. It was built in 23rd March, 1936 by Alberto Prebisch. It was built by 4 weeks. Its length is 67.5. The other amazing spot is “Woman’s Bridge” or “Puenta de la Mujer” The goverment spent 6 million dollars to build it. The structure began in 1998 and finished in 2001. The creator of this idea was Santiago Calatrava. At night, when you are crossing the bridge there is a feeling that you are on the sling. The feeling of freedom is overwhelming. And the last spot is Floralis Generica which was created in 2002 by Eduardo Catalano. It was made by steel and has 6 petals. It opens every morning at 8 and closes at sunset, on a schedule that changes according to the season. When its petals were inaugurated, they didn't close due to technical problems which were solved two months later. There are four special nights in which the petals are open: May 25, September 21, December 24 and December 31. I admire this country and really want to visit it and see everything with my own eyes.
