How you guys got to know each other? Would you say it’s more difficult for a blind person to find love? (Also, you guys are a lovely couple!)

Thank you. We met on Periscope. It’s a live streaming app made by Twitter I think there are several natural disadvantages for people with disabilities in general to meet people. But I think any of those challenges can be easily overcome. I wasn’t even really looking for a relationship but I sort of just stumbled into it. I have loved every minute of it sense.

Billy, that’s so nice to read! Reading your answer the following questions came to my mind. Would you say, that nowadays technology makes life easier for people with disabilities or is it harder to adapt because it’s constantly changing?
BillyAuthor
I personally believe that technology has extremely help those with disabilities be more connected to the world around them. For example my wife and I can push a button and a car will arrive at our doorstep to take us wherever we need to go. Even just 10 years ago this was impossible.

Wow, this is great! What other devices do you use that make your everyday life easier?
BillyAuthor
Honestly we are both pretty simple. We both use our iPhones. And we use cane to get around. But we are looking into getting guide dogs. We do have other technologies. We have an iPad, MacBook, and an Apple Watch but we don’t use those as much as the iPhone.

Were you both born blind or did you lose your eyesight?
BillyAuthor
I was born blind. She went blind in her childhood.
