AFRICAN TATOO

In the early African society, Africans use scarification marks to distinguish an individual, tell her/his rank in society, family, clan, and tribe, and symbolize him/her beauty or strength. In some tribes, it was seen like wearing your identity card on your face or body.

However in recent times, the younger African generation has not carried on with this practice.
