Draw This! December Challenge Day 8: Draw some icicles
Draw This! December Challenge Day 7: Draw a kid sledding
Draw This! December Challenge Day 6: Draw a happy mug of your favorite hot drink.
Wild Child live in Philadelphia. One of my favorite lines of a song. The song is Silly Things.
Draw This! December Challenge Day 5: Draw a Snowy tree. Any kind of tree.
My favorite movie is It's a Wonderful Life. George Bailey lives a modest life as part owner of a Savings and Loan business in the 1920s/30s. He sacrifices his own dreams to fulfill the dreams of the people in his town. One night he is desperate and jumps from a bridge into a river. In doing so he has an experience and learns he really has had a wonderful life.
Draw This! December Challenge Day 4: Draw a fox in the snow
I was busy at work yesterday. I doodled this but forgot to take a picture.
Cherry Springs State Park in Pennsylvania. Also home to one of the top dark sky parks in the United States. Amazing views day or night.
Draw This! December Challenge Day 3: Draw a snow man
Draw This! December Challenge Day 2: Draw a snow flake.
Draw This! December Challenge Day 1: Draw a Polar bear.
Home made alfredo sauce with bacon, chicken, peas and onions with cheese tortellini. Mmmmmmm so good. I wish I had pictures but I am always too excited to eat it.
What do you do when you could use not just a day but a mental health week? But if you take off a week you'll only be stressed with the mountains of work to come back to.

I'm having a rough couple of weeks. But sometimes doggy snuggles help to get through it.
Rainy sunset with a rainbow to end a long day
This is true and just happened on Halloween. Driving in the city on my way home from work. Car starts stalling and making knocking sounds. I don't know the neighborhoods and there is nowhere good to pull over. Finally find a pharmacy parking lot with lights and cameras. Call Aaa and wait 3 hours for tow. Don't get home until after 9pm. Car engine is blown and I've missed one of my favorite holidays.
My boyfriend and I carved these pumpkins. His is Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty. I attempted the Philadelphia Flyers new mascot Gritty.

Early morning walk after a thunderstorm.
I love how this song ebbs and flows. It starts simple and builds to a crescendo before dropping back down before building again. The lyrics spiteful and self-deprecating much like many of Wild Child's songs. What ties it together is Kelsey's voice. Such range and passion. I love the recording but in person you can feel the emotion put into it from every single member of the band.
I really prefer physical books. But when you're on the go as much as I am sometimes digital works too. Stephen King, Patricia Briggs and the book the Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold are some of my favorites to escape with.
