Who says Switzerland and whisky don't go together?
I found this noble drop in Baar. However, I did not see the whisky on the shelf of the spirits department but in the depths of the earth, namely in the stalactite caves with the meaningful name Höllgrotten.
There the whisky is stored in oak barrels in an ideal climate. The basis for the noble drink is also the high-quality spring water of the Höllgrotten. Every drop of this water wanders through the filtering rock for ten years before it reaches the spring.
Anyway, I couldn't resist and after seeing the barrels in the cave I bought a bottle. Its content has already spent 7 years in the grotto and I can only tell you that I have not regretted the purchase.
