Oktober, Well, do you know how similar the languages are?
OktoberAuthor
Enes 🔥🔥🎆🎆, It seems like there are certain words which I'm guessing come from Arabic and Persian language that are incorporated in regular use in both the languages.
Enes 🔥🔥🎆🎆
Pro Creator
Oktober, ha those are the words that are actually different from each other! :D at least in some cases I saw. Both are turkic languages and... lets say the main construct is the same. Theres a saying in turkey that "when you fly to aserbaidschan in the morning, you will be able to understand the differences by the night when you fly back". So they can actually understand each other. But there are ofc also differences where we can get confused. Azeri-turkish got influences from russian and other things and turkish had other influences, but I think they had more influences from arabic (not sure about that one). And then there are just some very funny ways both language express certain things xD🤣😂 For example: Düşmek means falling in turkish. But in azeri-turkish it can also mean that someone is going out of a bus or that s airplane is going to land. Sooo azeri-turkish might literaly say "we are going to fall soon". 😂😂

Jabba Ree 🌹

Enes 🔥🔥🎆🎆, I didn't that yarak means weapon in Azerbaijani language. And bardak is in Russian, which also means a messy place.

Pro Creator
mallepietje, how do you pronounce ü in German?
mallepietje
Jabba Ree 🌹, Hündüşqa or Hind toyuğu
Jabba Ree 🌹
Pro Creator
mallepietje, hündüşqa is more like an informal version. Hind toyuğu is the real word.
