Big family?

Infidel Castro, nope, actually the 3 of them were my relatives. Grandfathers and uncle. Other people were from my husband’s side (his uncle and grandma) and 1 was my friend’s mom. There were a lot of funerals but I always tried to avoid them. So I didn’t count them.

Infidel Castro, yeah, My uncle’s death was devastating for me. And he was just 42 when he died 4 years ago. We had a really good relationship. He was more than just an uncle, he was my teacher so yeah. Other deaths were expected ones because of illness and I was ready for it.

Jale, that sucks. I haven't been to any devastating funerals, my family is super small now

José Zueco...™, naah, i usually help in the burial procedure. Have been trained to wash the body and more. Plus, we are encouragedbto attend as many funerals as possible. And there is no food at our funeral.

Bravefoot, I understand, I have family both in France and in Reunion Island, so sometimes it was difficult to attend a funeral.

Check the obits if you are looking for an apartment or if you're a thief looking for an empty home to rob. Or dress appropriately, attend the funeral, and accompany others to any post-funeral gatherings to eat and drink.

Xixixi 🍀❓, oh jaaa. Da habe ich schon einige verabschiedet. Mittlerweile verweigere ich mich der gesellschaftlichen Regel schwarz zu tragen. Regenbogen wäre zu intensiv 😉😄. Doch angemessene Kleidung in hellen Farben bevorzuge ich.

EllaEnte (90%), wenn ich ehrlich bin, war meine Laune im letzten Jahr oft so schwarz, hatte ich so wenig Lust mich um Kleidung zu kümmern, dass ich das Schwarz als Befreiung empfand.
