What does it do?
Patient ZeroAuthor
It is a visually aesthetic hourglass meant for productivity, by training your brain, based a several principles: 1) Tactile: The unusual shape and smooth, solid glass send a unique tactile signal 2) Visual: A unique and stunning piece of art that visually encourages engagement 3) Aural: The sound of millions of steel nano spheres is a gentle white noise, signaling the brain to start the habit cycle. ********* Above taken from the website The time management portion is taken from the pomodoro technique (which is technique based on breaking up long tasks into very small, manageable 25 minutes increments of intense productivity, followed by a short break). http://pomodorotechnique.com/get-started/ The technique itself works quite well for many people, but this drills into it a little more by using the three senses above to condition your mind to work more effectively and efficiently. It's also a really cool looking and sounding time piece which would look great on any work desk, and the white noise it makes is good for relaxation and stress reduction.

Speedy, Yeah. I love hourglass pieces, glass art itself and they video on the website shows how it sounds on different surfaces. Wood table. Metal, leather. Think o might get one for my desk.
