To the rest of the world: It is getting uglier and uglier in Germany. The bourgeois parties have no recipes against the social and economic crisis. Conversely, their policies have led to this situation. For years the Social Democrats have betrayed their class and carried out an even more brutal anti-social policy in government. Both are not prepared to correct their mistakes. In this state of ignorance and betrayal, the fascists rise to the second largest party in the polls. They are already sitting in parliament. Cheers!

I don't think it's a drawback to have a (new) political party on the right. German politics have been without any "big change" for a long time now and there was no moderate right wing, so all the options were at least a bit leftish. The rise of a moderate party on the right side will also motivate the existing parties to become more conservative again, in order to get back the voters they already lost. The numbers the AfD gained within a few years shows the demand for a moderate right wing nowadays... Things will change. Things always changed sooner or later.
