Decided to have a go at a new "carving" project. Half ounce copper Indian head piece
Started with the easy spots, eye and tip of nose
Started the teeth and jaw but I was having some difficulty and it started looking sloppy. Spent some time cleaning the background d up and making my own hardened steel tips
Cleaning up and a couple more little spots really seals the Chang over
Cutting the teeth in is the hardest part of all.
Can't forget the neck hiding back there
And there it is, my first skulled "hobo nickel" this was done entirely by blowgun darts and polish paste. Took about 3 or 4 hrs.
