SlimFootJesus, Oops, you're right of course, deflation makes it worth more, not less. I think I was confused a bit because I know full well that in dollars, Sols really are getting worth less and less, while on Sola they're worth more and more. Or rather votes are worth less and less, making Sols worth more.
Probably a fixed amount of Sols each hour or so, which means because the value of Sols is tied to the share of votes on the platform, that the value of existing Sols are also tied to the share of votes. They probably did this in hopes of a growing platform, the opposite is kind of sad though
Typical case of an economical downwards spiral: content becomes worth less => currency reflecting that value devaluates => which makes content worth less => and so on. On a larger scale that's called deflation.
Let’s guess, if there is a daily Sol pool to distribute and we have more and more votes on shitty cards because of the miner network, then the Sol distribution is split by votes which results in a lower Sol distribution per vote. In fact the inflation of votes doesn’t increase the value of Sol because this value is given by the market
For some things the value stays the same. Like boosting challenges and getting rid of adds. If you earn less from votes than you should, or get more votes due to bigger platform or pay less for the facillities
A limited amount of money was deposited/used to buy SOL (when it started coming out), now no-one buys SOL but farmers farm and withdraw SOL. Therefore, less and less money is in the Sola vault, therefore each SOL is worth less.
Earn SOL - a cryptocurrency used in Sola (ERC20 standard token). Sola is an iOS, Android and web application which is a mix of a media and community. Sola allows discovering new people and exciting content in a most simple, friendly and relaxed manner.
