Imagine there are only two phrases you can say to your child during your whole life. One is a quote, another one is your own. What phrases will you choose?
My choices are:
A quote: Who indeed is the happiest but the unhappiest and who the unhappiest but the happiest, and what is life but madness, and faith but foolishness, and hope but a staving off of the evil day, and love but vinegar in the wound. By Søren Kierkegaard.
My own: Don’t become a fan of anything but your opportunity in life to create.
