MOHA_SFC فلسطين💪, we can endlessly discuss what you or I believe sola should be. That is not the point I made.
The issue is that sola needs to be positioned in the market of existing social media. When doing that you need to answer the user's question of why they should join, which must include the answer to the question of why sola is different than other social networks. If you don't answer these questions, every product, including sola, will fail sooner or later.
The current and only marketing message of sola as an attempt to answer these questions is "everybody can make money on sola". Let's ignore for a second that that is currently a lie. From a marketing viewpoint it is also not a valid USP, because it is not unique - there are tons of networks out there, who promise the same. So, where do they explain, why someone should go to sola and not to steem etc.? I also explained above that this by itself can not create any value at all.
So, with this alone the question of why someone should join sola is not answered, so let's look at the second component, you mentioned: networking. Why should someone do that on sola and not on facebook, insta, linkedin or whatever. I currently see no reason. The mentioned competitors have more users, more sophisticated features and their apps are even running stable. What is the difference between sola and all the others, that would provide a sufficient reason for sola to exist? Sola even creates the same echo chambers as all the others.
I btw disagree that most users are here for a balanced combination of earning and networking. The vast majority who recently invaded sola is only after easy money, they don't give a shit about networking, not even mentioning providing quality content, and will be out in no time after they realize that they've been lied at. The rest is more or less standing there, scartching their heads and ask themselves, if they should stay or leave, because nobody at sola team provides an answer to that question (see above).
I don't want to change the concept or strategy of sola, I want sola to have a strategy and concept at all. Currently there is none visible, which provides a sound basis for the future eistence of sola.
Last point: you are spending a lot of time trying to make sola a better place. I consider this a waste of time, because the by far more important task to accomplish this can neither be done by you nor by me nor by anyone else outside of the sola team. And since the devs are either not willing or not able to do this job, I am certainly not going to end up like Sysiphos.
