Topic: December Meetup ❤ Part 4 (Boardgame café)
After Casa Loma on Sunday we went to Snakes & Lattes, a boardgame café in Toronto nearby.
it was about $8 to get in for as long as we wanted to play and then extra for any food we ordered. Throughout the evening we got two servings of chips & dip and one serving of mixed gummies.
Sparkling Italian Soda for both, black cherry for me and strawberry lime for Matt.
First we played this game at the recommendation of the staff there. It was a lot of fun, would recommend for an easy but fun game for 2+ players.
There are basically 3 parts to each spell but you can play one or two if you want long as they're in order. You basically work to lower the health of your opponent and win the Wizard duel.
There was a lot of selection so we played 2 more games afterwards before heading home. 🎲
This game was about ghosts vs. ghost hunters, the ghosts try to mislead the hunters to destroy expensive property, they win after 45,000 euros, the hunters need to find the room the ghosts are in destroying the least amount as possible.
I won both times we played, as hunter & ghost. 👻
The last game we played was Mr. Jack, one of 8 detectives is Jack the ripper. one player tries to figure out which is Jack, the other player is Jack.
It was really fun (and I won).
So, what are your favourite boardgames/cardgames? 🎲🃏
